Our programs are also designed to re-train nursing assistants whose certification has expired. We offer this recertification program for those who completed the 8th grade and Basic Nursing Assistant Training program, and who need to be active again in the Illinois Nurse Aide Registry. Each student is required to partake in 8 hours of theory classes and 8 hours of clinical experience. Upon enrollment, students must comply with the course requirements with clinical components and undergo a criminal background check. Upon completion, on the other hand, they will receive the certificate of completion and will be eligible for the Illinois state exam.
The curriculum of our nursing program helps advance the development of individuals, exposing them to hours of training in direct client care at various health care settings including long-term care facilities, hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, and more. By letting them engage in hands-on experiences at participating healthcare facilities, each student will be provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to be nursing assistants.
Following the completion of the program, they will receive a certificate of completion. Graduates will then be eligible for the Illinois state exam.
Each applicant must be 18 years of age and have completed the 8th grade.
